Elevator Emergency Communication Systems
The safety of the people in your elevators is paramount!
Elevator Emergency Communications Systems enable voice communication from inside elevators to the onsite reception desk, concierge or directly to the offsite central monitoring center.

The calls are initiated from inside the elevators by simply pushing an assigned and pre-programed button. The system is essential and is required by law in case of emergencies.
Your elevator communication systems need to meet ADA code and the telephone MUST NOT require voice activation communication - this is an important liability factor if the person trapped in the elevator is deaf or unable to communicate.
WE ALSO OFFER FREE PRE-INSPECTION OF ELEVATOR EMERGENCY PHONES PRIOR TO THE ANNUAL INSPECTION OF THE ELEVATORS.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) affects most aspect of facilities, and its requirements for emergency elevator communications are extremely specific!

Although some elevator service companies simply recommend installing a phone cabinet in each elevator cab, regulatory codes require that each elevator cab be equipped with an ADA-compliant emergency communication system. In many cases telecommunications dealers modify standard telephones to provide some of the features required by the ADA, but most of the time these modifications do not meet all the ADA requirements and end up costing more than a compliant system.
The question is how to be "ADA compliant" without wasting money? First and foremost, the purpose of ADA requirements for elevators are to provide emergency communications to elevator passengers in the event of an elevator emergency.
Following are the relevant ADA Code requirements and how to implement them.
4.10.14 EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS
Requires emergency two-way communication between the elevator and a point outside of the hoist way (in compliance with ASME A17.1.1990). The highest operable part of the communications system inside the elevator shall be a maximum of 48 inches from the floor and it must include raised symbol and lettering for compliance with code 4.30. The communications system must NOT require voice activated communication, and Code A4.10.14 encourage the installation of hands-free systems.
4.31.5 HEARING AID COMPATIBLE AND VOLUME CONTROL TELEPHONES REQUIRED BY CODE 4.1
(1) All telephones shall be hearing-aid compatible.
(2) Volume controls must adjustable from a minimum of 12 dbA to a maximum of 18 dbA.
A4.311.4 TWO-WAY COMMUNICATION
It is essential that emergency communication must NOT require voice activated communications so that the safety of people with hearing or speech impairments not be jeopardized. The system must also include a button in the area of rescue assistance that lights up to indicate that help is on the way, providing both a auditory and visual indication.

As soon as the call is received our monitoring system automatically identifies the elevator from which the call was placed, as well as its exact location and contact information.
Call Records
All calls that are received at our 24-hour elevator monitoring centers digitally recorded on our computer system hard drives, archived, and backed up offsite daily. Every call is date & time stamped, and all communication is recorded in its entirety along with its elevator location.
Elevator surveillance cameras are no longer a luxury, they are a necessity!
Surveillance camera systems have become the norm in protecting both commercial establishments as well as private residences. A good surveillance system provides a complete and unbiased video coverage of everything that takes place in any given location day or night i.e. theft, misconduct, vandalism,in addition to acts of violence.

Unfortunately, most condo buildings that do not have a good camera surveillance system inside their elevators experience vandalism on a regular basis. High definition surveillance cameras installed in the elevator cabs help prevent or resolve such problems.
CCTV Digital Surveillance Systems
Our Digital Video Recording Surveillance Systems record and archive digitally, and all footage is date & time stamped (which makes them acceptable in a court of law).

The live stream and prerecorded footage can be viewed locally and/or remotely from an authorized computer, smart phone or tablet. Past recordings can be searched based on time, day and location, and are viewed in real-time.

Months and years of recorded video are digitally stored at a time, and are encrypted on hard drives which can be backed up and archived for future reference.
